If you want to focus on your work and studies, here are 6 simple ways that will help you

“I don’t know how to study.. I don’t know how to focus on my work,” a phrase we always hear from those around us, whether children or adults. Lack of focus has many reasons. It may be long thinking or not sleeping enough hours, which affects the nervous system or causes psychological problems and others .

According to healthline, there are many methods that can help you focus on the task in front of you, which are:

1: Get rid of distractions

You need to get rid of distractions, and while it can be difficult to get rid of everything, you can make an effort to reduce or eliminate as many distractions around you as possible.

Start with the simple things like:

- Move to a quiet area.

- Turn off notifications on your phone or turn off your phone completely.

Close your office door.

Tell those around you not to get distracted for a while.

Close programs or applications that are not necessary on your computer.

2: coffee in small doses

Drinking coffee or other caffeinated beverages in small doses may have a positive effect on your ability to focus but if you drink too much you may end up feeling anxious or stressed, which generally reduces your ability to stay focused.

3: exercise

It is always recommended to exercise regularly, which enhances the health of the body and mental abilities and helps to focus.

4: Try to balance your intake of lean protein, complex carbohydrates, and healthy fats. Snack on fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts or seeds if you feel hungry between meals, and make sure to stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water.

5: Get enough sleep

Lack of sleep is one of the main reasons for lack of focus, so it is recommended to sleep for a sufficient number of hours, not less than 8 hours per day. To enhance the health of your sleep, try:

1: Avoid caffeinated drinks after lunchtime.

2: Turn off all electronic devices an hour before bed, the light from these devices can stimulate your brain and prevent you from feeling sleepy.

3: Take your time to calm down, read a book or take a warm bath and listen to soothing music.

4: Keep your bedroom cool and quiet.
