Italian Juventus defender Bonucci was infected with the Corona virus

The Italian club, Juventus, announced that its defender, Leonardo Bonucci, has been infected with the emerging coronavirus-19, and the player is currently in isolation.

Juventus issued an official statement today, Thursday, through its official website and its page on the short blog, Twitter, announcing that defender Leonardo Bonucci was infected with the Corona virus.

The statement read: "Leonardo Bonucci underwent a medical examination after returning from participating with the Italian national team, which was confirmed to be infected with the Corona virus (Covid-19) and the player is currently in isolation."

This comes hours after the old lady also announced that Turkish international Merit Demiral, the Italian Juventus defender, had been infected with the new Corona virus, Covid-19, with his country's national team.

The newspaper "Toto Sport" confirmed that Demiral, who joined the Turkish national team despite having a foot injury, tested positive for the new Corona virus, Covid-19, last week.

The Italian newspaper published a report under the title "Positive Demiral", adding that he will miss the Turin, Naples and Genoa meeting.

Thus, the absence of Bonucci and Demiral from Juventus in the face of Turin next Saturday, in Derby della Moli in the Italian league.
