The National Planning Institute organizes its annual international conference, under the patronage of the Prime Minister, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly, entitled "Digital Economy and Sustainable Development" in Cairo 3-4 April 2021, where the conference will be opened by Dr. Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and Economic Development and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute, and Dr. Eng. Amr Talaat The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and Dr. Alaa Zahran, President of the Institute and President of the Conference, a group of experts and academics in the fields of digital economy and sustainable development from inside and outside Egypt will participate in the conference, in addition to the distinguished participation of many executive leaders working in the digital economy sector in Egypt.
The conference addresses issues related to the role of digitization of the economy in promoting development, employment and education in the digital economy, the role of government in the digital economy, priorities for digital economy in Egypt, and the social and environmental dimensions of the digital economy.
And Alaa Zahran, head of the institute, said that the institute held an annual international conference on one of the issues related to the dimensions of sustainable economic, social and environmental development.
