Syria: Explosions were heard on the coast of the cities of Latakia and Tartous

SANA and Al-Akhbariya reported in the early hours of Wednesday that the Syrian government's air defenses had responded to an Israeli missile attack that targeted sites in the Lattakia and Hama governorates.

Official Syrian reports stated that the air defense forces responded to hostile Israeli missiles that targeted locations in the cities of Latakia and Al-Haffah in Latakia governorate and the city of Masyaf, west of Hama governorate.

Earlier, local media reported that explosions were heard on the coast of the cities of Lattakia and Tartous, and it turned out later that they were caused by the Syrian forces' confrontation of enemy targets.

Some media outlets published photos and a video that they said documented the sites of explosions resulting from the attack in Tartous and Latakia.
