Sudan News Agency: The army confirms its ability to protect the recovered lands


The Sudanese army announced its determination to recover all of Sudan's lands according to the borders of the year 1902, indicating its "ability" to protect the "liberated" areas as a result of the recent military escalation.

Dr. Al-Hadi Idris, a member of the sovereign council and head of the Revolutionary Front, affirmed that the government of the transitional period stands behind the armed forces and provides support and support for them as they lead the battle of dignity and spread within the borders as it is a legitimate right of the armed forces.


He indicated that preserving the land is a moral and national responsibility, adding, "We will not seek the military option in resolving the issues of borders and the water file, for the possibility of solving them through peaceful work."


The governor of Gedaref, Dr. Suleiman, affirmed the government's determination to develop the border strip with the federal government and to make the Al-Fashaqa area attractive to all Sudanese.


 The governor called on Ethiopia to reach the stage of marking the borders to end this file and pay attention to other aspects in achieving integration, referring to the stability of the security situation in the state.
