Planning the implementation of 93 projects in education in Minya Governorate within two years


The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development said that 93 projects were completed in the pre-university education sector, at a cost of 474 million pounds, which resulted in the creation, replacement and expansion of 1,352 classes in Minya Governorate during the past two years.


In a recent report, Al-Planning clarified that expanding the establishment of projects for the education sector comes to achieve the goals of sustainable development: "Ensuring quality education that is equitable and inclusive of all and enhances learning opportunities throughout life for all."


The report emphasized that the percentage of villages in Minya governorate that have a governmental primary and preparatory school increased from 88.1% in 2015 to 97% in 2020, and the percentage of villages with a governmental preparatory school increased from 86.1% to 90.6% in 2020.


The report indicated the completion in Minya Governorate during the years (18 / 2019- 19/2020), where 737 projects were completed, with a total investment cost estimated at EGP 4.8 billion in 7 sectors (education, health, housing, electricity, transportation, irrigation. , Local development).
