Spaniard Pep Guardiola, the Manchester City coach, expressed his happiness at winning the English Professional League Cup for the fourth time in a row, after defeating his counterpart Tottenham Hotspur, with a free goal, in the final match that brought the two teams together at Wembley Stadium, in a copy. The current season is 2020-2021.
Guardiola said, in statements after winning the title, about winning 30 titles as a coach: "It is a great thing. I was with big clubs such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich and now City, and that is why I achieved it."
Regarding the presence of Eric Garcia in the match list, Guardiola said: "Eric Garcia is one of my favorite players. I hope to have 15 Eric Garcia, the reason why he is not called up now is because I think he will sign for Barcelona."

In the 29th minute, Raheem Sterling misses a sure chance for City after he is alone with the City goalkeeper, but he places the ball next to the left post.
In the second half, Manchester City continued their pressure on the Spurs goal, until French defender Emeric Laporte scored the winning goal in the 82nd minute with a wonderful header, following a cross by Belgian Kevin De Bruyne from a free kick.
