The Libyan Prime Minister instructed not to take measures that would cause changes to legal positions

The head of the Libyan National Unity Government, Abdul Hamid al-Dabaiba, instructed the ministers of the reconciliation and interim governments not to take measures that would effect changes to some legal positions in public institutions and interests in contravention of the managerial powers (caretaker) required by the transition phase.

Dabaiba said - according to the Libyan "Africa" portal reported today, Tuesday - that all measures taken in contravention of the management tasks and conduct of business in the ministries are considered null and do not produce any legal effect.

In another context, Dabaiba directed the temporary suspension of holding meetings of the Board of Trustees of investment institutions and general assemblies of public companies, as well as in which the state contributes until notice and considering the minutes and decisions issued from the date of granting confidence to the government on the tenth of this March are canceled as if they were not.

Dabaiba explained that these directives come as a commitment to the responsibility entrusted to the Libyan National Unity Government, which includes promoting public companies, overcoming difficulties and finding appropriate solutions to the problems they face, and in order to ensure the stability and regularity of workflow in public companies as well as in which the state contributes, which requires setting a number of Precautionary measures and measures, especially in light of the current stage conditions.
