The Sudanese Security and Defense Council issues a number of decisions to impose the prestige of the state


The Sudanese Security and Defense Council issued a number of decisions aimed at achieving security and stability and imposing the prestige of the state and the rule of law.

 

The Sudanese Sovereignty Council stated, in a statement, that the Security and Defense Council held a meeting headed by Lieutenant-General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, head of the Transitional Sovereign Council.

 

Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Izz El-Din El-Sheikh said in a press statement that the meeting discussed the events of the third of June (referring to the marches in Khartoum), the current events in South Darfur, and the events of the Khor Barnaga area in West Darfur (western Sudan).

 

He added that during the meeting, a number of directives were issued to the state security committees and the technical committee, noting that the decisions and directives will be implemented on the ground in a way that enhances security and imposes the prestige of the state.
