Engineer Jihan Ammar, head of the New Assiut City Development Authority, confirmed that two five-a-side football fields have been completed and handed over to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, represented by the Youth and Sports Directorate in Assiut, to operate them in the expansion area southeast of the city.
Engineer Jihan Ammar explained that the first stadium is located on an area of 3,700 m2 in the 226-acre social housing project, and the second stadium is located on an area of 2,500 m2 in the Ebni Baytak 2 project in the expansion area southeast of the city, and each of them consists of (administration building - guard room - artificial grass - pergola - wooden benches).
The engineer, Jihan Ammar, indicated that the speed of operation of the two stadiums was emphasized to serve the city's residents, as part of the implementation of the directives of Dr. Assem Al-Jazzar, Minister of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, on the necessity of handing over and operating various services and activities in the new cities.
