Domestic consumption of butane decreased to 321,000 tons in February

Government data monitored a decline in domestic consumption of butane in February, as the consumption value reached 321.9 thousand tons, compared to 328.7 thousand tons in February 2020, with a decrease of 6.8 thousand tons.

 

The data issued by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics showed that butane imports recorded 193 thousand tons in February, compared to 150 thousand tons in the same month in 2020, an increase of 43 thousand tons, while the volume of production reached about 142 thousand tons last February. Compared to 168.3 thousand tons in the same month in 2020, a decrease of 26.3 thousand tons.

 

The domestic consumption of natural gas recorded a slight increase during the month of February, as the value of consumption reached about 3 million 556 thousand tons, while it was 3 million and 462 thousand tons in February of 2020, an increase of 94 thousand tons, while the volume of domestic consumption decreased from Other petroleum products, on the other hand, as it recorded about 2 million and 46 thousand tons in February, compared to 2 million and 239 thousand tons in the same month in 2020, with a decrease of 193 thousand tons.

 

The production value of natural gas reached about 4 million 123 thousand tons, compared to 3 million and 677 thousand tons in February 2020, an increase of 446 thousand tons.
