The Industrial Modernization Center awarded the "Proudly Made in Egypt" mark to 219 industrial establishments, including 60 in the engineering industries sector, out of a total of 271 factories that were evaluated and ensured their compliance with quality standards.
The factories that were not able to pass the assessment are issued a full report, and the points of non-compliance are explained so that they can work on addressing them and re-evaluation, according to an industry update publication.
The center is currently working on setting dates to visit 54 factories, once they confirm their readiness to receive the evaluation committee.
The "Made in Egypt Proudly Made in Egypt" mark is considered a local Egyptian control and quality mark approved by the Ministry of Trade and Industry with the aim of introducing Egyptian products and commodities manufactured in the Arab Republic of Egypt, according to the highest quality specifications.

The validity period of the mark continues for two years from the date of its grant, and it is renewed after re-evaluation.
